Meet Our Directors

Ray Smith

Ray's entire 35 year career has been with JT Wilding, starting initially on work experience from Ipswich's Northgate High School and then moving onto the governments Youth Training Scheme (YTS). Successfully completing his YTS Apprenticeship, Ray qualified as a domestic and commercial GAS SAFE engineer as well as gaining OFTEC oil fired qualifications - accreditations he still maintains today. During his career he has gathered vast knowledge and experience  of our industry which proves invaluable when advising our customers and supporting our engineers.

Bill Cox

Bill's career began in similar circumstances as his fellow Director, beginning as an apprentice at an organisation very much like JT Wilding. Qualifying as an HVAC pipefitter and welder, he then joined a large contracting organisation and worked primarily on new build installations in the pharmaceutical, industrial and commercial sectors. During the commissioning phase of one such project, he was encouraged by the property owners to join their maintenance team. This set him on his career path in the Facilities, Service & Maintenance sector. After enjoying many years in this field, culminating in managing teams that looked after the technical service needs of national and international organisations, he spent some time as a self employed Project Manager before joining Ray and the team at JT Wilding.
